Following the merger of the Online and Training divisions of CPL, the rebrand is a great opportunity for CPL to crystalise their offering, approach and direction.
CPL has long been a recognised leader in the learning and development market, and with the rebrand launch, it’s clear that CPL has got a clear vision for the future of L&D.
CPL – The experts unite
So, what’s happened over the last twelve months? CPL Online, the digital learning division and CPL Training, the tutor-led training arm, were both respective experts in their fields. And back in June the businesses were brought together to offer a transformative approach to learning and development – providing a unique blended learning solution for the hospitality and retail sectors.
What does the CPL rebrand mean?
CPL Learning’s rebranding isn’t just a cosmetic change. Along with a new name and shiny new identity, a whole suite of pioneering learning content and tools have been developed and will launch over the next few months.
“For us, this rebrand is about the next exciting chapter for CPL Learning. Having been through a period of change, following the acquisition by CGA, we recognised that for us to continue being the pioneering learning and development partner to hospitality and retail, we needed to blend our proposition to unlock our potential.” Said Jamie Campbell, Chief Operations Officer, CPL Learning.
“We have fantastic learning resources, content and courses, both digital and tutor-led, that are recognised and trusted across the industry. An established engaging platform and range of digital tools that are accessed by hundreds of thousands of users every year. And a unique ability to underpin all of this with phenomenal industry data with our colleagues at CGA so that we can measure the effectiveness of L&D and provide actionable insights. When we began to look at the opportunities collectively and explore how we will support our partners, it became evident that we needed an identity that encapsulated and communicated our vision” continued Campbell.
What’s behind the design
The new CPL Learning logo is inspired by the learning and development journey we all follow. A continuous journey that starts in childhood, every learning experience is a building block that helps shape an individual and unlock their potential.
When translated into the employment environment, these L&D experiences help to develop and guide team members through their career journey.
It was also crucial to CPL Learning that the logo, styling and brand identity conveyed the values of the business.
“We chose to develop our new brand identity internally utilising the fantastic creative talent we have in our team. It was a bold decision to make, and it’s ultimately been the best thing we could have done. Our new brand truly feels connected to not only our vision and offering but to our most important asset, our people.” continued Campbell.
