Wine within the hospitality Industry today is extremely dynamic with the market having undergone huge growth since the early 1900s. This learning activity takes the user through the story of wine, how it is served and how it can be utilised to enhance guest experience.
This course aims to inform learners of the history and intrigue connected with the service of wine. The course also aims to build product knowledge and increase the confidence of leaners serving wine and making recommendations.

- Recognise the history of wine enabling you to share knowledge when upselling to the guest
- Describe the difference between red wine, white wine and rose
- Demonstrate how selecting the perfect wine and pairing it with the right product enhances the guest experience

Valid: Up to 1 year after purchase.
Assessment: At the end of the course you will be tested through an assessment consisting of 10 questions. You must answer 80% of the questions correctly to pass and receive your certificate.
